Framery announces new Gradus™ product line designed for the U.S. and Canadian markets

Framery is launching the new Gradus™ product line, designed specifically to meet the needs of the U.S. and Canadian markets. These new soundproof smart pods will be officially unveiled in Chicago at NeoCon, the world’s leading event for the commercial design industry and workplace furniture, starting June 8. Featuring three new models, the Gradus line will be sold in the U.S. and Canada and assembled in the USA.

The Gradus™ product line has been developed exclusively for the U.S. and Canadian markets and for manufacturing in the United States. The minimalist design is optimized to suit local office architecture and customer preferences, providing an architecturally harmonious alternative that expands the choices available alongside Framery’s existing product range.

Products in the Gradus™ line will be assembled at Framery’s new factory in the United States. The new manufacturing facility is a key part of the company’s growth strategy and its goal to meet North American demand locally.

Modularity and customizability at the core of the design

The new product line consists of three products:

  • Gradus Focus™: A smart, soundproof phone booth for one person, designed for calls and focus work.
  • Gradus Work™: A smart and soundproof workstation for one person, featuring a full-size adjustable desk and a spacious interior designed for uninterrupted flow.
  • Gradus Huddle™: A smart and soundproof meeting pod for 1–4 people, optimally sized for spontaneous collaboration and confidential discussions.

The modular structure and replaceable components of the Gradus™ line enable the maintenance, refurbishment, and upgrading of the pods throughout their entire lifecycle. Innovative, easily replaceable exterior wall panels, such as wood-finished or fabric acoustic panels, make the workspaces exceptionally flexible: they can either blend subtly into the surrounding architecture or serve as a striking centerpiece for the office.

“North American designers and customers value customizability. The flexibility of Gradus makes it an excellent solution for various office environments and gives companies the freedom to modify the look of their spaces as their needs change,” Hällfors states.

Smart design, smooth user experience, and space efficiency

The user experience has been refined to be frictionless: the smart pods are equipped with automatic, adaptive ventilation, versatile and video-optimized lighting themes, and industry-leading A-Class soundproofing.

Integrated occupancy sensors collect anonymous usage data, which, together with Framery’s smart office solutions, helps organizations optimize their space usage and identify workspace needs.

As a testament to its long-term sustainability mission, Framery was recently awarded the international EcoVadis Gold sustainability rating. Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) have also been prepared for the Gradus™ product line to support corporate carbon reporting. In addition, localproduction reduces the carbon footprint of logistics.
