Booking the pods is a pain-free process for hotel guests and convention participants. After scanning a QR code, users receive a PIN code from Hyatt’s online booking portal, which gives access to the pods through the integrated Framery smart lock door handle.

By connecting the pods directly to Hyatt’s existing space-booking infrastructure, Schalk created a fully automated system without additional software overhead or extra billing work for front-desk staff. Combined with Framery smart lock, the seamless setup gives individual guests instant on-demand access while allowing the Events team to easily block out time in advance for organized groups.
