When they set out to modernize their Hungary HQ in Budapest, they brought that same focus on synchronization and efficiency to their own workplace.
Operating with 12 meeting rooms and a high-traffic Training Center, the 40-person team faced constant scheduling friction, with their multi-purpose meeting spaces often going underutilized. GS1 Hungary needed a strategic way to free up high-value space and reduce booking challenges, without overly complicated software.

Creating a unified space booking system
Determined to support their team, GS1 Hungary adopted a hybrid office policy that gives people more autonomy over how and when they work. But despite those intentions, phantom bookings and a lack of visibility made it difficult to coordinate spaces for the daily needs of modern work.
In a move to free up their meeting rooms, GS1 Hungary added two Framery Four smart pods, connecting them to their Microsoft calendar and enabling walk-in bookings and on-site reservation adjustments. With an increase in calls and virtual meetings, the team at GS1 Hungary found that the burden of searching for available private space in the office was costing them time and energy. To create a unified space booking system, GS1 Hungary connected their pods, rooms, and booking tools directly to their workplace calendar through Framery Connect.
